Mr. James Cheng is currently the Chief Executive Officer of iFREE GROUP Financial Holdings Limited,  member of the Banking and Finance Taskforce of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, Vice President of the Hong Kong ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation (HKAECF) and the Vice Chairman of Monte Jade Science and Technology Association of Hong Kong.  He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Ceneric (Holdings) Limited (HKEx stock code: 00542), Independent Non-executive Director of Harmonic Strait Financial Holdings Limited (HKEx stock code: 00033), Executive Director of Pizu Group Holdings Limited (HKEx stock code: 08053), Chief Executive Officer of Daily Growth Financial Group, and Director of Hong Kong Online Brokers Association.  Mr. Cheng held senior management positions in major local as well as international financial institutions.

Mr. Cheng has more than thirty years’ experience in corporate & investment banking, securities, corporate finance & management, and entrepreneurship.  Committing himself in the financial world, Mr. Cheng has made  accomplishments regarding mergers & acquisitions and fund-raising. His entrepreneurial experience across various industries entitles him to manage investment projects/companies in a veteran manner. He has involved in a number of sectors such as banking & securities, tourism & hospitality, life science, telecommunication, food & beverages and manufacturing.

Mr. Cheng earned his Bachelor Degree at University of Western Ontario, Canada and a Master Degree of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco, U.S.A.
